used in model boats. The table below relates railroad gauges to model boat scales:
“HO” Scale = 1/96TH (Technically 1/87th Scale) “TT” Scale = 1/120TH
“S” Scale = 1/64tTH “N” Scale = 1/160TH
“O” Scale = 1/48TH “Z” Scale = 1/220TH
“G” Scale = 1/24tTH “BARBIE DOLL” = 1/6TH
“DOLL HOUSE” = 1/12TH
INCHES & MILLIMETER CONVERSIONS
To convert inches to millimeters: Multiply inches by 25.4 to get millimeters
Ex: 10” x 25.4 = 254 mm
To convert millimeters to inches: Divide millimeters by 25.4 to get inches
Ex: 508 mm : 25.4 = 20”
