HMCS AGASSIZ (K129) – Flower Class Corvette
1/48 Scale 51.5” X 8.5”
Canadian Corvette built in Vancouver in January 1941. Typical of the short forecastle version, it was intended for inshore mine sweeping, but was mostly pressed into convoy escort service in the Atlantic. Agassiz was scrapped at Sydney, Nova Scotia, 1946.
