What's New:
Last monthe we mentioned the possibility of acquiring another Company. We are
pleased to announce that we are now the new owners of "Pop Up Manufacturing." For those
of you not familiar with "Pop Up", they produce Radio Control Model Sailboat Kits. Currently,
there are three (3) kits in production: An America's Cup Class, A twelve (12) Meter and a
Self Righting Catamaran. We will continue to produce these along with associated parts and firrings. In addition, as part of the purchase, we have aquired the original molds to eight (8) more models. As yet unreleased, we will finish the development work on these models and release them as soon as possible. It is expected that we will have the original three (3) models back into production by the end of the year. We will alert you with the releases.
UpDate:
Now that we have assumed "Ownership" of "Taubman Plans Service", we are going through the entire inventory in preparation for the production of a New Catalog. This New Catalog will contain the plans that were already carried by Taubman with the addition of the Plans carried by Loyalhanna Dockyard and hundreds of other plans we recently discovered. We have subsequently discovered additional hundreds of New Plans available from the manufacturers supplying Taubman that were never listed in the current Taubman Catalog, and these will also be added for availability to the U.S Market. When the New Catalog is complete, we will alert you and you can look forward to the New Plans \catalog listing nearly double the current number of listings. This will obviously take some time, and we will keep you updated as to the progress. As always, our Newsletter recipients will have first option at purchasing the Catalog from the first printing.
Along with the Catalog update, the website also has to be updated. We have decided to re-design the entire site to make it more "Customer Friendly." We welcome your thoughts and suggestions for the New WebSite. Please E-Mail Renee with your ideas.
New For Customers:
While we are talking about WebSites, we wanted to mention that we have partnered with Amazon.com to provide our customers with a discount on all of their Amazon.com purchases. We have placed a Link on the Mainpage of Loyalhanna Dockyard.com, from where you may search for your product or just go straight to Amazon.com. By using our link, an automatic discount applies. A similar link will be on the New Taubman Plans Website. We encourage everyone to give it a try as Amazon is a great place to do your Christmas Shopping and now you can take advantage of the discount.
IN THE WORKS
Currently Loyalhanna Dockyard is working two (2) other partnerships. We are in discussion stages with a popular Magazine to help introduce more R/C Content to that Magazine. Further details will be forthcoming as soon as the final format is decided.
Finally, Sirmar Model Ships and Loyalhanna Dockyard have agreed to a two (2) fold Partnership. First, we will be Co-Developing many New kits. This cooperation will allow for reduced development costs and shorter design schedules. Second, it has been agreed that to help reduce costs of existing Sirmar Kits due to overseas shipping costs, Loyalhanna Dockyard will be licensed to produce the Hulls here in the U.S. The first two (2) models to undergo manufacturing here are the Ticonderoga and the Oliver Hazard Perry. Other models will continue to follow. This allows Loyalhanna Dockyard to reduce prices on these models greatly. We are very excited about this Partnership with Sirmar, as they are a reputable company with excellent quality.

We have received several Books with the purchase of Taubman Plans Service. \we will be llisting them over the next few days on Loyalhanna Dockyard.com. Keep checking the Site, they will be listed on the Main Page.
For those of you who have recently signed up for the Newsletter, we have now archived
all Newsletters and the Articles which go with them. The Newsletters are not archived for at least 30 days after which they are E-Mailed out, so some of the specials and deals are not in the archived versions. Newsletter Specials are only for those actually receiving the Newsletter and not available to the general public or at a later date.
