The true-scale model has been scaled down to 1:22 scale from original blueprints. The technically interesting model permits various installation options to be realized. In addition to the recommended equipment optional supplementary functions can be realized, such as illumination, electric motor drive revolving parts, weighing the anchor or letting it go, firing an illumination signal etc. If desired the model may be operated with a single E-motor, of course; in that case it is capable of executing basic maneuvers. The plan shows the various functions described in the building instructions. With control of the daughter boat being of the proportional type and the main drive motor being controlled independently, interesting maneuvers, such as launching and retrieving the daughter boat can be executed with ease, safely and with functional reliability. The deck superstructure is removable as one unit. This feature provides easy access to the entire installed equipment. The uncommonly well equipped kit simplifies assembly and shortens building time. All difficult-to-fashion parts, such as hull, bow parts, are supplied in the kit in the form of extruded parts. A large number of plastic miscellaneous parts are used in this boat, enabling the modeler to complete the model with a minimum effort and to obtain a most satisfactory optical impression, while meeting many requests for function options at the same time.
