KM33 – CLYDE PUFFER – “INCHCOLM” 1/24 SCALE 32” X 9”
Small steam coasters such as the Inchcolm, built in 1909, were common in northern waters in the first half of the 20th century. They became known as “Puffers” because of the sound the coal fired engines of the very earliest boats made. The drawing is detailed from the original launch, as the design was changed slightly in the 1930’s.
