The vessels of the loyal Class were built to navy design in the late 1970’s for transporting stores, personnel and do a variety of jobs around the fleet.  They also train personnel for times of emergency when they were known as RNXS (Royal Navy Auxiliary Service).

Carry a crew of 5 officers and have extensive range at a cruising speed of 10.5 knots.
