ARUN – B.P. FORTIES LIFEBOAT1/20 Scale 32” x 10.25” This set features a beautifully molded one piece hull, complete with shallow tunnels & side rubbing strips. The deck is molded with the correct cambers & with the main side step-downs all molded in as one. Finally, the one piece superstructure is molded complete with rear step sides molded in. MATERIALS PACK Included is the 6mm x 3mm styrene strips to join the deck to the hull sides, enough 1.5mm, 1mm & 0.75mm sheet styrene material to make up the deck coamings, hatches, side vent cut-outs, wheel house interior & fly bridge. Clear glazing is included to make the windows. Also included is the 6mm half-round rubber fendering to go around the hull. The moldings are all of the best quality & are molded in white with a slightly matte finish. Very little work is required to make them ready for immediate use. DRAWINGS A brand new set of drawings has been specially prepared for this model to show the boat as she was originally launched. The drawings are of the full-size vessel rather than of the mode. However, they are to exact scale & can be used to construct a highly detailed model. These drawings consist of: 3 complete individual sets of templates & a very detailed instruction manual, making construction of this model very easy.
