NORTON CROSS – W/SISTER SHIP EATON CROSS These tugs, very distinctive in their appearance, are 2 of several built by Richard Dunstons (Hessle) Ltd, during the early to mid ‘80’s. First of the new fleet, was actually a stern drive tug driven by two engines through one prop and Kort nozzle, which is the propulsion system, as in this configuration the NORTON has proved to be an ideal prototype for the modeler requiring a thoroughly rugged workhorse. The Full size plan accompanying the Norton model GRP detailed Hull shows the ‘Z’ peller location with a detailed alternative single screw conventional stern Kort nozzle drive system, thus giving you, the modeler, complete freedom of choice, AND a model that steers perfectly backwards. 34” / 865mm X 11” / 280mm PRICING: HULL & PLAN & PHOTOS: TEMPLATE PACK: TIMBER PACK: |
