Taking the basic shape of the old Wartime Transport ‘VIC’ concrete barges / lighters, and mixing in some modern model Tug - Towing technology, the VARIANT, so called because of the five options of finished appearance, is purpose built for the model ‘TUGGER’. With square-ended-swims, straight sides, removable water ballast and a strong GRP hull , the VARIANT, short & very lightweight, allows easy transportation to the lake with the added benefit of coupling any number of boats together to give any number of configurations to suit your particular ‘tow’. (i.e. 6 boats; 2 abreast x 3 long = a tow approx. 8 ft. (2.5 m.) long & 1.5ft. ( 1/2m. wide.) GRP detailed Hull, finished in our Rust color Gel coat (scratch the paint work & rust shows through!) with wood deck & hatches etc.
