WHAT'S NEW
We are working around the clock to get Taubmans Plans up and operating smoothly. We have finally been able to contact all suppliers and now have all of our own Masters available and ready for copying so we should soon be able to provide a very quick turn around on Plans orders.
Renee is in the process of building a New Website which will be much more user friendly and easier to navigate than the current Taubman Site. She expects the Site to be complete sometime in January and we will send you a special announcement letting you know when it is up and live on the web. In conjunction with the Website, a new Taubman Plans Catalog will be available by February. We expect the number of Plans will be in the area of 8000. Which is up by approx. 6500 from the current catalog. We are updating ALL available Plans and adding several New Lines of Plans to the already existing inventory.
UPDATE
Loyalhanna Dockyard has received the molds from Pop-Up Manufacturing, our latest acquisition. We have a large amount of stock including Hulls, Fittings etc. available in kits orindividually. As the catalog and information is in need of re-work, please contact us if you are interested in an R/C Sailboat and we will give you details. We will be offering special discounted prices to our Newsletter recipients on all available stock. As soon as we have more detailed information formalized, we will forward it to you.
ANNOUNCEMENT
Loyalhanna Dockyard has entered an agreement with Sirmar Ship Models of England. The purpose of this partnership is so that we can now offer Sirmar Ship Models here in the U.S and avoid overseas shipping charges and customs fees. We have been licensed to produce their product line here in order to accomplish this, which will slash the prices of their models greatly. The first three (3) models entering production at this time are: Ticonderoga Class Cruiser, Kidd Class Destroyer and Oliver Hazard Perry Class Frigate. Production is set to begin shortly. This partnership will also allow both companies to co-produce new products at a faster than normal pace. Watch for new releases over the next year.
We have also secured dealer terms for the Mack Product Line. All of their Kits, Fittings and Running Hardware are available and will be added as quickly as possible. This will allow us to provide even more variety to the customer.
For those of you who have recently signed up for the Newsletter, we have now archived
all Newsletters and the Articles which go with them. The Newsletters are not archived for at least 30 days after which they are E-Mailed out, so some of the specials and deals are not in the archived versions. Newsletter Specials are only for those actually receiving the Newsletter and not available to the general public or at a later date.
